Customer Reviews
Excellent food and service. My husband and I live in Waynesville and friends from out of state visited and wanted to meet for lunch on Sunday. We were able to make reservations at noon and the restaurant was full soon as they opened. The hostess was friendly. Our server was Autumn and she was one of the best we have had in years. The food was fantastic - see pictures- and didn’t take long to come out of the kitchen. Our friends were impressed!

To start the service is great, the pimento cheese app was crazy good! My Old Fashion really was top of the line! I had the meatloaf & my wife had the pimento cheese burger! Both where amazing! Definitely glad we stopped by!

Due to a recent change in my diet eating out was very hard, but Birchwood Hall Southern Kitchen was a winner! My family decided they were sick of eating the same healthy foods I was forcing them to eat so they decided we needed to go out for lunch. I was able to order the Shrimp Perloo which was absolutely fantastic! I had to the chef to make a few substations which I hate doing since the dish is on the menu the way they feel it tastes best but in this case I had no choice. The waitress was actually so very nice and helped me figure out what to get, she even mentioned that the Shrimp Perloo was her favorite dish. There was a lot of shrimp in the dish as well as a lot of flavor! It was a bit spicy but I loved it. I'm not sure I can express how much I enjoyed it, I actually became that annoying person at the table that badgered everyone into trying my meal because it was so good and they needed to know. My family ordered the Mac n Cheese for the table which looked really good unfortunately I could not eat it so it just sat and tortured me. We had a reservation and went around lunch time on a Saturday, it wasn't super busy so I imagine you could just walk in for lunch. I will be back and diet or no I will be ordering the Shrimp Perloo!!!

We went here for a late lunch! The food was so good. We enjoyed all our food so much. The chicken salad sandwich was so good. The fried chicken was delicious! And the chicken pot pie is a must! The server and staff were so friendly and took really good care of us. The waitress remembered my grandparents.
